About Me

I am Lori and am so thrilled and thankful that you are here, as I am certain you are meant to be. I am the creator of Sacred Inheritance — The Jungian Path, a sanctuary for all givers of care who have given everything and now feel the ache in their very soul.

Almost 4 decades as a Registered Nurse provided me with the opportunity to work across diverse healthcare delivery settings. With this I was witness to birth, death, rupture, resilience, and every shade of human becoming, quite honestly literally and figuratively. Nursing shaped me, then gloriously broke me wide open, which ultimately initiated me into the deeper truth of who I am and what led me to become a healer, one whose calling was never limited to traditional medicine. A healer who washed with flooding memories of her own trauma since childhood that which she could never quite actualize. Why could it not be actualized? She was deeply in survival mode. Then because she is a nurse, the caregiver, it is quite inherent. I learned that burnout is not a personal failure. It is an initiation. A rupture that reveals what has been sacred within you all along. A call to reclaim the parts of yourself you had to silence to survive. To stuff away the fleeting memories of never being good enough. Of experiencing shame from childhood that lives in me still today, which is a beautiful gift. I was led into healing others so I could then heal my Self, the 5-year-old Lori who stayed quiet, scared, sad and in the dark.
